This spacious and modern thatched house is located in Greyton and is a fantastic option for a large group wanting outdoor space for entertaining. The house has four bedrooms and sleeps 11 people. 

The house has one upstairs bedroom with a king-size bed and three downstairs bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed and the third with a combination of bunk beds and single beds, sleeping five. There are adjacent bathrooms shared with the rooms. Linen and towels are provided for the convenience of guests. 

The house has a charming, spacious patio with a ceiling fan to aid in the hot Greyton summers. There is a spacious lapa next to the braai area with a ceiling fan and an outdoor table for for 10 to 12 people. The house has a swimming pool. 

Uncapped Wi-Fi allows guests to stay in touch during their holiday and the living area has a TV with Full Premium DStv and a PVR machine. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, a microwave and a fully automated, coffee bean grinding, Saeco espresso machine. 

 

Greyton is fast becoming known as the ideal weekend stopover for visitors. The historic town is surrounded by Riviersonderend and boasts gravel roads surrounded by restored, thatched houses. Mountain biking is a popular activity and the Greyton MTB classic is hosted here. The Sonderend Mountain Range surrounds Greyton and there is a very popular Greyton-McGregor hiking trail. Permits are required for this hike from the Greyton Tourism Office at R50 per head. 

A Saturday market happens across from the DRC Church on Main Road that sells mostly food and preserves, second-hand books and a few arts and crafts. Greyton has also recently become a hotspot for weddings. There are two very well-attended festivals that happen every year, the Classics for All Music Festival in the winter school holidays and the Rose Festival in October.
